Why APSIDOG?
Several inquiries showed that a similar Society like ESIDOG does not exist in Asian-Pacific Area. Therefore the idea is borne to found APSIDOG.

Structure
The structure of the Societey could be similar to the one of ESIDOG: one Managing Director and independent country members.

On April, 14th 2010 there was a Meeting in Hotel Radisson, Kathmandu Nepal to discuss the new special group for Asia-Pacific. 23 representatives of Asian-Pacific countries were present to participate and to discuss further steps.
