Asian-Pacific Society for Infections in GYN/OB( APSIGO)

APSIGO (Asian-Pacific Society for Infections in GYN/OB) was founded successfully in Singapore in Nov 2010 by 28 country members. The official registration as Society has been completed July 2011 in Sri Lanka.

The mission of APSIGO is to create a network of international specialists in the field of infectious diseases in the hospitals and to enforce scientific exchanges with existing structures in Asia Pacific and with European colleagues.

APSIGO will organize international meetings and conferences and serve as a resource for information and guidelines. The purpose of the events is to bring together key opinion leaders of APSIGO and to strengthen the cooperation between the countries. The result and summary of the meeting shall generate basic recommendations for all countries. 

The membership of the APSIGO includes both clinicians and scientists.
